Let's Get This Straight...

I am no fashion guru. I am strictly an aspiring fashion guru. And, I consider none of my crew to be fashion guru's. Jay B. is an emcee. With a rookie swagg. I have at least 15 shoes I can fit right now, and consider myself blessed to be able to have a choice of which to wear. What I am looking to achieve with this blog, is a document of my progression in the fashion world. To get a better idea of where I currently stand with my streetwear game- I used to be a skater. For a year or two straight, I used to wear Element, Fallen, DC Shoe Co., L-R-G...you know, the norm. I hung up the board, picked up the streetwear culture. A lot more safe. Equally expensive. Maybe more. Either way since then I've created a relationship with the cats at the local sneaker boutique, R. Sole. On a good saturday, you can catch me in there, chattin it up with the peoples. I have apparel from Crooks & Castles, Lemar & Dauley, Skoold n Korrectnuss, and Acapulco Gold x Union. All of which I have purchased at R. Sole, so go check them out if you live in the Mid-South area. I got Jordan V, Jordan IV, and two pairs of Jordan XII. I love NIKE. I have rocked Nike all my life, like most inner city kids. Currently I wear, Air Tech Challenges, AF3s, AF1s, and some Shox. Every Spartan kid needs either a pair of Sperrys or Wallabees. I have the Wallies!!! I have one pair of fake dice Ice Creams. I have to mention that they are fake, or cats will say that I am a poser or something. They were a gift.....Besides that, a bunch of skate tees, skate shoes, sweaters, and dress shirts (Tommy Hilfiger or Polo by Ralph Lauren).....and there it is...THE JOURNEY BEGINS!!!
